In our worship this Holy Week we recognize and reflect upon God’s purposes as we draw near to the cross. On Palm Sunday, amid praises and palm branches, we remember the deep purpose for which our King enters to Jerusalem: to suffer and die on Mount Calvary to obtain forgiveness, life, and salvation for us all.
“So from that day on they made plans to put him to death.” John 11:53
